Guide to Opening a new BDO Savings Account
1. Make sure you have the following REQUIREMENTS.
Two (2) Valid IDs– Should be a government issued ID with photo- Examples: Philippine Passport, SSS ID, Voter’s ID, Driver’s License, Postal ID, PRC ID, etc…
Utility Bill – as proof of billing. If the bill is not under your name, you may still present it as long as you are living on the same address
2×2 Photo – 2 copies of latest photo
Initial Deposit Amount
Peso Passbook Savings (with or without ATM) Php 5,000.00
Peso ATM Debit Card (without passbook) Php 2,000.00
Application form – you can ask this from the bank teller
2) SUBMIT the form and requirements to your preferred branch.
3) WAIT for your ATM or Passbook to be released – this may take at least a week before it becomes available for you to claim it.
4) After you get your ATM or Passbook, don’t forget to ENROL to the BDO MOBILE or INTERNET BANKING so you may conveniently monitor and manage your savings account.

BDO SAVINGS INTEREST RATES
The Gross Interest Rate Per Annum for BDO Passbook or ATM accounts is 0.25%. To earn interest, your account must maintain the following Minimum Balance:
Peso Passbook Savings – Php 10,000.00
Peso ATM Debit Card – Php 5,000.00
BDO MAINTAINING BALANCE
Note that there is also a MINIMUM Balance you need to maintain on your BDO Savings Account monthly to not be charged an extra fee. Here are the BDO Monthly Average Daily Balance:
Peso Passbook Savings – Php 10,000.00
Peso ATM Debit Card – Php 2,000.00
If your account falls below the stated amounts for two (2) consecutive months, a Falling Below Minimum Balance Fee will be collected which is Php 300.00.
BDO BANKING HOURS
Mondays to Fridays 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Branches inside the malls may operate up to 7:00 PM and may also be open even on weekends.
